PANL Paramedic of the Year
We were thrilled with the number of nominations we received for the first-ever Paramedic Association of Newfoundland and Labrador (PANL) Paramedic of the Year award sponsored by Munn Insurance.
This year the PANL Paramedic of the Year is Ruby Hynes. Ruby was nominated 26 times by friends, colleagues, municipality workers, fellow first responders, and family members.
Ruby has been working as a paramedic for over a decade; she is currently working both full-time and casual positions with Fewer’s Ambulance Service operating in Clarenville and Delaney’s Ambulance Service operating in Glovertown. In addition to working in her field, Ruby is a dedicated instructor teaching courses in Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), First Aid, and CPR.
Ruby has been described countless times as a well-respected, dedicated, compassionate professional who inherently exceeds all expectations.
“Munn Insurance is proud to sponsor the Paramedic of the Year award. We are happy to be able to give back to those who give so much, and we would like to congratulate Ruby Hynes on being named the 2022 PANL Paramedic of the Year! Thank you, PANL, for including Munn Insurance in this great initiative.” – Aaron Blackwood, Munn Insurance
“Paramedics Association of Newfoundland and Labrador is extremely pleased to be presenting the inaugural Paramedic of the Year award to Ruby Hynes. Congratulations Ruby!. We would also like to thank Munn Insurance for their support.” – Rodney Gaudet, President PANL
Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate a paramedic in your life and congratulations to everyone who was nominated for this award.
